The Windermere Downtown Business Committee is composed of business owners of the Downtown Windermere Florida area, representing the many merchants; retailers, Service providers, and professional offices who serve the Town of Windermere and the surrounding areas. The committee coordinates with the DRB and makes recommendations to the Town Council concerning issues affecting the local businesses. It is also provides a forum for each business to coordinate with fellow businesses, share ideas, combine efforts, and promote each other. The Downtown Business Committee educates the local businesses on regulations and ordinances which are required in the heart of our historic Town among the lakes.

Last but not least, this committee organizes annual events that bring attention to the businesses of Downtown Windermere while promoting the community atmosphere that has made Windermere famous for families! This site is dedicated to the promotion of these organized events as well as other events that the businesses of Downtown Windermere hold for their patrons.

The Downtown Business Committee meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Room, 118 W Fifth Avenue, next to the Town Hall. All Business owners of this community are invited to attend and the meetings are open to the public.
